Meet Dr. Liza Kedioglou, PSYD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Liza Kedioglou is a clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy and executive coaching to adolescents, adults, couples, executives, founders, and high-achieving professionals. Drawing on her training in Clinical Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology, she works with individuals navigating leadership and career challenges, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, burnout, and significant personal or professional transitions.

Dr. Kedioglou’s approach is evidence-based, insight-oriented, and highly individualized. Working from a psychodynamic foundation, she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion Focused and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as clinically appropriate. She helps clients understand the experiences, relationships, emotional responses, and longstanding patterns that influence how they think, relate, work, and make decisions while developing greater psychological flexibility and more intentional ways of responding.

Dr. Kedioglou works with couples experiencing recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, communication difficulties, and significant life transitions. Drawing from psychodynamic and relational perspectives, she integrates principles from IFS, ACT, CBT, and emotion-focused work to help couples understand the emotional and relational patterns shaping their interactions and develop more constructive ways of relating to one another.

Executive Coaching

Dr. Kedioglou works with executives, founders, business owners, professionals, and emerging leaders to address leadership and career transitions, performance, difficult conversations, delegation and control, organizational dynamics, decision-making under pressure, accountability, and balancing professional achievement with a meaningful personal life. Her coaching examines the personality, relational patterns, and emotional responses that influence how people lead, communicate, make decisions, and perform.

Drawing on her background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, executive coaching, and personality frameworks, she considers both the individual and the organizational environment. Her coaching combines psychological depth with a distinctly non-therapy process. Her style is direct, thoughtful, and candid, with an emphasis on developing the self-awareness, flexibility, and interpersonal effectiveness needed to lead effectively and authentically.

Dr. Kedioglou earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology, an APA-accredited program. She holds a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven, with a concentration in Organizational Development and Consultation, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mitchell College, where she received Psi Beta National Honors, Dean’s List recognition, and Commendable Scholar recognition.

She is a Certified Executive Coach through The Center for Executive Coaching and a Certified Enneagram Trainer through Leadership Greater Hartford. She completed the Anatomy of Enneagram Personality Intensive through The Enneagram Institute and is certified to administer and interpret the Life Worx Enneagram Profiler.

Dr. Kedioglou also holds a yoga certification and has completed intensive Hatha and Vinyasa yoga training emphasizing meditation, breathwork, and somatic awareness, which she draws upon when clinically appropriate to support grounding, emotional regulation, and present-moment awareness.

Take the GPG Symptom Checker

At Greenwich Psychology Group, our symptom checker helps clients track their symptoms of depression or anxiety. Taking the assessment doesn't provide a formal diagnosis, but it can help you determine what next steps you may need to take. The evaluation uses a series of questions to review the feelings and symptoms you've experienced over the past two weeks. The results will help you distinguish if professional help is the best next step.
