She has extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, from adults, couples, and families to C-suite executives. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, grief and loss, spiritual concerns, identity issues, women’s and men’s issues, and professional burnout. Her background as a former C-suite executive provides her with a unique and informed perspective when working with high-level professionals and organizations.
Dr. Miller earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Social Work from the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago. She also holds a master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy and completed postdoctoral psychoanalytic training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York City. Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and insight-oriented therapy, with a strong emphasis on both symptom reduction and deeper emotional understanding. Dr. Miller draws from a wide range of theoretical orientations and works collaboratively with individuals to identify unhelpful dynamics and build on their existing strengths. She explores the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relational patterns that shape clients’ lives, helping them work through challenges while strengthening their relationship with themselves and others. She uses a biopsychosocial approach, considering the biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to emotional well-being.
Put simply: whatever you’re going through, she can help. Her goal is to support you in living a more fulfilling, resilient, and authentic life.
At Greenwich Psychology Group, our symptom checker helps clients track their symptoms of depression or anxiety. Taking the assessment doesn't provide a formal diagnosis, but it can help you determine what next steps you may need to take. The evaluation uses a series of questions to review the feelings and symptoms you've experienced over the past two weeks. The results will help you distinguish if professional help is the best next step.
